Making The First Contact
You can contact Katherine Harriet in a variety of ways to suit your or your loved ones needs, we can be contacted via email, phone, email and face-to-face in our office, on 9 Broad Street, Hereford, HR4 9AP. The initial contact will see you speaking with a member of our Client Team, they will take various details required to enquire, this will be details such as name, DOB, address, what needs you think are required at the moment, the team will then book you in to come and meet you. We are a bespoke service and we ensure everyone has an individual experience that is tailored to your needs and preferences.
If you are calling for a loved one, it is important to remember that they must consent to care, if you have any queries on this please discuss this with our Registered Manager.
Discussing Care and Support Needs
Often, one of the first things you will discuss will be your specific care needs, this is your opportunity to share concerns, any health issues and any challenges you may be facing. It is important to remember being open about care needs and worries, can help our experienced Registered Manager offer support and advice to tailor your bespoke plan to you.
The support could range from medication administration, moving and handling needs, personal care, shopping support, domestic home chores, companionship, outings and events, and many more bespoke to your needs.
Learning About Costs and Financial Support
Talking about financial aspects can be an important part of deciding whether home care is the right support for you or a loved one. At Katherine Harriet, we will discuss your package with a bespoke price whilst we meet with you to discuss your person centred and bespoke plan. Our experts within the Client Team, will be able to inform you of this during this time and answer any queries you may have. July 2024
What Will Happen Following This
After our initial meeting, we will ask further questions to allow us to build a care plan that focuses on your attributes, history, health, people involved in your life, goals, your preferences, your values and much more. This care plan allows our Wellbeing Assistants to read all the important information to be able to support you to the best of their abilities.
We will agree a date to start and we will take you on an onboarding journey, this allows us to review any changes to the plan, the team visiting you and ensure we are working towards your preferred call times.
