On Thursday 17th June 2021 we hosted a ‘Cupcake Day’ for the Alzheimer’s Society. We called on all our Staff and some Clients to ‘bake it’, ‘fake it’ or simply and more importantly just donate to this wonderful cause.
Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, a general term for memory loss and other cognitive abilities serious enough to interfere with daily life. At Katherine Harriet we certainly know this first hand from our own Clients and their families.
We were absolutely thrilled to raise £205.00 on the day. We also wanted to personally say THANK YOU to Café Ascaris and Café Allsaints for their kind donations of cakes which very much helped us to raise these important funds. Thank you to all our Staff and all their families too.
